The Sandhill Road WRF upgrades and Expansion project is located in Kissimmee, Florida. The project consists of expanding the facility from 6.0 to 9.0 million gallons per day, specifically, our work focuses of installing a new cast in place Concrete Clarifier, Splitter Box, Flow Meter Vaults, and the expansion of existing Chlorine Contact Chamber and AOAO Basin.
The Laurel North WRF is a new 2.5 MGD facility in Ocala, Florida. The project includes headworks with two Hydrodyne screens and with headcell grit removal, Ovivo 5-stage Bardenpho, two 75-foot Ovivo clarifiers, two Veolia disk filters, a chlorine contact chamber, two digesters and dewatering building with two FKC screw presses.
Hamlin WRF in Orange County is a new 5.0 MGD facility that includes a Preliminary Treatment Structure, Sludge Tank, BNR Tank, Chlorine Contact, 3 - Secondary Clarifiers, Clarifier Splitter Box, Tertiary Filters, Plant Pump Station, Chemical Feed System, GBT, and other Pump Stations. The project also included an off-site Cast in Place Wet Well Pump Station.
The Herbert Hoover Dike modification is located in Lake Okeechobee, Florida. The C-5 construction project consisted of a new cast-in-place reinforced concrete structure. The structure included cast in place foundations and walls for the Headwalls and three encased 10-ft diameter steel-lined culvert barrels.
The ECR Biosolids WWTP project is located in West Palm Beach, Florida. The project consisted of upgrading 22 structures while minimizing disruption to existing operations. Additionally, we constructed a new sludge storage and centrifuge dewatering facilities, constructing thermophilic (4) and mesophilic anaerobic (2) digestion facilities, and civil-site work. Also new septage, oils, grease receiving station, and new odor control facilities were constructed.
The Northwest Regional WWTF Expansion took place in Lake Marion, Florida. The project consisted of constructing a Chlorine Contact Basin, two Clarifiers, a Headworks, a BNR Basin, an Electrical Building, a Maintenance Building, Sodium Hypochlorite tank, and a Blower Structure.
The Westside Regional WRF improvements took place in Daytona, Florida. The project includes an eight-cell tertiary deep bed sand filter structure, mechanical equipment, clarified liquid pump station structure, aeration improvements at the five-stage Bardenpho basin, two RAS/WAS pump stations, two electrical buildings, and dewatering feed box.
The pretreatment powdered activated carbon (PAC) contact basin and ultraviolet (UV) treatment process building are located in West Palm Beach, Florida. This project ensures a dual barrier to pathogens and viruses as well as surface water free of taste and odor-causing compounds. This treatment plant is the first of its scale in Florida utilizing both PAC and UV technologies
The Downtown Master Stormwater Pond project located in Ocoee, Florida is a master Stormwater management system. It has two connecting urban ponds. One pond is a Filtering Marsh Treatment System and the other is a larger Wet Detention Stormwater Pond. Drainage improvements were also made.
The JEA Nassau project located in Yulee, Florida is a 3 MGD expansion to the existing Water Reclamation Facility. Construction included the following structures; Oxidation Ditch with associated splitter box and electrical building, Headworks, UV Disinfection, Disk filter, Sludge Tank, and additional miscellaneous buildings and structures.
Jacksonville JEA Greenland WRF - Haskell
The JEA Greenland project is a Water Reclamation Facility located in Jacksonville, Florida. It is the newest WRF in Duval county in 45 years. Structures being built include: Headworks, Bioreactors, Clarifiers, Filters and UV Disinfection, Solids Dewatering Facility, Reclaimed Water Storage Tank, and Chemical Systems.
The South District Wastewater Treatment Plant is located in Miami, Florida. The project consists of Headworks, two Oxygenation trains and Odor Control Facilities, and large Diameter Pipelines.
The Orange County Water Conserv II project is located in Orlando, Florida. The project consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials for the construction of the Water Conserv II WRF preliminary treatment system improvements consisting of, but not limited to, the following: construction of a new preliminary treatment structure.
